Short Internship (2-3 months)
Oratek is an engineering firm developing full stack solutions for the internet of things. Fast prototyping is in our DNA and we aim to offer you interesting internships
combining electrical engineering, software development and rapid prototyping. You get the opportunity to acquire hands-on experience and lead a project from concept to prototype.
In the context of a existing project for the manufacturing industry, a REST API need to be
developed based on multiple source of information. Once finalised this API will need to
be integrated into the exising solution, making this project a full cycle experience.
Requirements
- Strong Experience with Node.js
- Experience with newer JavaScript technologies such as ES6, Meteor, Cordova, Express, Babel, Webpack, React, Electron, UI/UX design
- HTML5 and CSS3 experience
- Experience in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g. Mongo, CouchDB)
- Solid understanding of the full web technology stack (e.g. HTTP, cookies, asset loading, caching, load balancing)
